Megan’s House residents, who have undergone tremendous growth as they recover from opioid addiction, will now get to grow some food of their own thanks to the generosity of NETSCOUT.
The Westford company, a market leader in service assurance and cybersecurity solutions, presented the Megan House Foundation with a $10,000 grant as part of their Heart of Giving community program. The grant program, which is awarded through the Greater Lowell Community Foundation Center for Business Philanthropy, builds relationships with nonprofit organizations and engages employees in learning about service opportunities in their own communities of Greater Lowell and Lawrence.
The money will be used to create a garden behind the Megan House. NETSCOUT employees will join residents of Megan’s House in the planning, digging and planting of the garden, which will feature flowers, vegetables, a walkway and even benches for residents to enjoy their beautiful new surroundings.
