“Clean” and Sober
We at the Megan House Foundation continue to be amazed at the outpouring of support received from our community. Whether through monetary donations or through volunteer services, hundreds of companies, agencies and people have pitched in to ensure Megan’s House is a first class home for our residents to continue their recovery.
One such effort took place today, as a gentleman named George Bertos came to the Berry Road home and cleaned the carpets for free. Bertos, the owner of Lowell Janitorial Supply, a cleaning and supply company, had attended our 1st Anniversary Celebration after winning 2 tickets by bidding $500 through an online radio auction on 980 WCAP-AM. While at the celebration, Bertos was so moved by what he saw and heard, he offered his cleaning services at no cost.
Thank you to George and Lowell Janitorial Supply for the kind gesture. Efforts like this are just one way the Greater Lowell Community has rallied behind our cause. Together, we make a difference!
