The Stage is Set…..
….well, sort of.
A hearty group of volunteers gathered at Chelmsford High School’s Performing Arts Center this morning to welcome the arrival of the Mary Poppins set, and to store it for the upcoming Actors, Incorporated production to benefit The Megan House Foundation.
The massive set that serves as the backdrop for the classic Broadway musical, Mary Poppins, arrived in a 52-foot trailer and was unloaded into storage by teams from Actors Inc. and Megan’s House, joined by the good folks from Ericsson and Local Laborers 429, who have joined numerous volunteer efforts in the past to support projects benefitting the long-term residential treatment home for women in Lowell.
The popular Disney tale will be performed over 4-shows on the weekend of April 21st-23rd. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit the Actors Incorporated website. To become a sponsor, click on this link or email tpanos@themeganhouse.org.
