Milltown Plumbing Lends Helping Hand
More support from the local business community arrived at Megan’s House last week, as the owner of Milltown Plumbing in Chelmsford, MA toured the long-term residential treatment home.
Fred Webster, Jr. stopped by to meet with Program Director MaryBeth Murphy and get an up-close look at the work being done to help young women in recovery. Webster brought with him a $1,000 check, the award for Megan’s House winning the Milltown Plumbing Helping Hands initiative. Each month, visitors to their website nominate local organizations who then compete for votes to win the monthly honor, and we at Megan’s House were fortunate enough to be nominated and garner the most votes for the month of July.
The Megan House Foundation extends its gratitude to Fred Webster and the entire Milltown Plumbing team for their extensive community efforts and for honoring us. We would also like to extend a hearty thank you to all who voted and helped us overcome a pair of very worthy organizations during the competition.
Together, we make a difference!
