Huntley Takes the Reins at Megan’s House
Pamela Huntley Named Megan House Foundation
Interim Executive Director
Long-time board member brings a wealth of knowledge and experience
to the community as the organization continues its growth
LOWELL, MA – The Megan House Foundation is excited to announce Pamela Huntley as the organization’s Interim Executive Director. The Hampton, New Hampshire resident previously served on the Foundation’s Board of Directors and brings an intimate knowledge of the organization and the local health care community to the table.
“Pamela’s leadership and dedication to our mission as a member of the board have contributed greatly to the success stories at Megan’s House and Erin’s House,” said Robert Gignac, Megan House Foundation Chairman of the Board. “Her passion for helping young women in recovery, combined with her well-established relationships in the community will be an integral part of our continued growth.”
Huntley comes to Megan’s House after spending the last decade at Lowell General Hospital, most recently as the Director of Community Relations and at the Center for Community Health & Wellness. While there, she excelled at developing relationships with corporate and community partners to generate a climate of understanding and support for the health system, its mission, accomplishment, and challenges. Huntley has developed a reputation as a skilled program builder, with the ability to educate key stakeholders on the benefits of those programs.
“It is an honor to help lead this amazing team, said Huntley. “From the moment I attended the Megan House Foundation’s 1st Anniversary Gala and heard the resident speaker’s story, I felt compelled to get involved and do my part to advance the mission and make a difference in the lives of these young women.”
The mission of the Megan House Foundation is to improve the quality of life of its residents through an evidence-based substance use disorder treatment program that emphasizes individual dignity, self-respect, and empowerment. Through its long-term residential treatment program and success homes, the organization has established a culture that promotes wellness and success.
