Where Are They Now – Janee
When I first arrived at Megan’s House I was lost and broken, I was a resident there for 9 months. While there, not only was I able to find myself, but I was also taught how to be the strong successful woman I am today.
The staff provided me with so much support through my toughest days and helped me come up with solutions for everyday life problems. They gave me the tools I needed to get on the right track towards my new life. They taught me how to hold myself accountable which has taken me a long way from where I used to be. Every group I’ve had there has played some role in my life today.
I am now a resident at Erin’s House and am crushing my goals one by one, If I need it I can easily go to my House Director for help or even go right around the corner to my old stomping grounds at the Megan’s House. They’ve all become my family.
Today I’ve learned how to build good relationships, make healthy boundaries, manage time and money, and how to correctly take care of and love myself amongst so many other things.
It is safe to say the Megan House Foundation has saved my life and for that I will forever be thankful.
