Putting the “Fun” into Fundraising
Once again this year, the COVID pandemic put a damper on our plans to celebrate the 6th Anniversary of Megan’s House opening its doors to residents.
However, as was the case last year, that has not stopped our team from hosting smaller, more intimate events to help raise the vital funds necessary to provide comprehensive services to young women in recovery.
One such event was an outdoor concert presented by Executive Director Pamela Huntley at her home. Friends and families gathered outdoors, safely distanced, for great food and live music featuring Crush, Boston’s Dave Matthews Tribute Band. When the dining, dancing and singing were done, this gathering raised nearly $7,000!!!
The link below offers a glimpse of what your past generosity has meant to families throughout our communities. We encourage you to take less than 5-minutes of your time to hear the heartfelt words of mothers, fathers and siblings whose families have been made whole again thanks to the courageous efforts of these young women and the tireless staff working with them at Megan’s House and Erin’s House:
In the coming weeks, Megan’s House will celebrate the 100th graduate of our program. Once again, we thank you for making these success stories possible, and kindly ask that you consider helping us once again this year in honor of our 6th Anniversary.
Together we make a difference!
