Christmas at Megan’s House
How was your Christmas? Ours was great!!!
Residents of Megan’s House were once again showered with love this holiday season, receiving gifts from generous supporters through the annual Presents for Residents drive. This year’s gift donations topped all of our previous efforts, which is saying something.
On top of that outpouring of support, the young women were gifted Christmas stockings, courtesy of the Libro, Norcella, and Celli families, who also donated Christmas dinner.
And of course, what would the holiday season be without a few special treats?
Program Director MaryBeth Murphy and the residents retreated to the kitchen to bake some special cookies, from scratch, in the days leading up to the holiday.
As always, the privacy of our residents is of utmost importance, so we can’t share pictures of all the other fun goings-on and activities that made the season merry and bright for the young women who call Megan’s House home. Rest assured though, what can often be a challenging time for those away from or estranged from their families, was filled with the love and joy any loving household contains.
And ultimately, that is the greatest gift of all!
